The residence times of carbon dioxide are 16 and 55 years

The model 1DAOBM-2, which I have developed, can be used to simulate the way carbon dioxide behaves in the atmosphere-ocean-biosphere system. In the former post I showed the simulation results of the yearly and cumulative CO2 flux rates. The 1DAOBM-2 can be used to simulate residence times and the future scenarios of different CO2 emission rates. There is a real test carried out in the atmosphere nearing an end and it can be used to check the residence time of the anthropogenic CO2 in the atmosphere.
